Student #3

This student is a high school student with a passion for STEM. Over the summer, his organization STEM Powering teaches a group of kids K-8 about STEM principles, including 3D modeling, electronic engineering, and computer programming.

Having had 50 kids attend the program over the 2025 Summer, he realized the relevance of technical education for elementary and middle schoolers, but he also recognized the lack of opportunity for it within his school system. Civic Connections has helped this student take the first steps towards implementing STEM education in his old middle school by reaching out to its principal, curriculum director, and STEM teacher.

This student is now working with them to see what can be done to help implement STEM Powering’s agenda in his school district.
